These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Catalyst mobile application ("Catalyst," "the App," or "the Service") operated by Aurandel ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using Catalyst, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Catalyst is a voice-first AI productivity coaching application. It provides strategic life coaching, goal tracking, project management, daily accountability, and personalized guidance through an AI persona named Jax.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Catalyst. By using the App, you represent that you are at least 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
You may be required to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to update it as needed.
Each account is for a single individual. You may not share your account or allow others to access Catalyst through your account.
You agree to use Catalyst for its intended purpose — personal productivity coaching and life strategy. You agree NOT to:

Catalyst offers both free and premium subscription tiers. Premium features require a paid subscription. Current pricing is available in the App and on our website.
Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not store your payment information.
You can cancel your subscription at any time through the App Store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until your current period expires.
Refund requests are handled by Apple according to their refund policy. Please contact Apple Support for refund inquiries.
We may change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.
Catalyst, including its design, code, AI systems, knowledge bases, archetype system, coaching methodologies, and all associated intellectual property, is owned by Aurandel. Multiple aspects of Catalyst's technology are protected by pending patent applications. The Catalyst name and logo are trademarks of Aurandel.
You retain ownership of the content you share with Catalyst — your goals, projects, voice recordings, and conversations. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process this content solely to provide the Service to you.
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about Catalyst, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that feedback to improve the Service.
Catalyst's coaching responses are generated by artificial intelligence. While grounded in a curated library of 347+ books and specialized knowledge bases, AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or not applicable to your specific situation.
Catalyst's responses do not constitute professional advice of any kind — including medical, legal, financial, psychological, or therapeutic advice. Always consult qualified professionals for decisions in these areas.
When Catalyst searches the web on your behalf, the results are synthesized through Jax's coaching perspective. Web-sourced information may not be current, complete, or accurate. Catalyst is not responsible for the accuracy of third-party web content.
Your privacy matters to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aurandel, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of Catalyst, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
You can stop using Catalyst at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, go to Settings → Privacy → Delete My Data, or email privacy@aurandel.com.
We may suspend or terminate your access to Catalyst if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or if we discontinue the Service. We will provide reasonable notice when possible.
Upon termination, your right to use Catalyst ends immediately. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution — will survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Before filing any formal dispute, you agree to contact us at legal@aurandel.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
If informal resolution fails, any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Catalyst shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration will take place in Honolulu, Hawaii, or remotely at your election.
You agree to resolve disputes with us on an individual basis only. You waive the right to participate in class actions, class arbitrations, or representative proceedings.
Either party may bring an individual action in small claims court in Honolulu, Hawaii, if the claim qualifies.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of Catalyst after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
